Please read our terms & conditions carefully before placing the order through our website and make sure you understand them before ordering products from our website.

General Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions are subject to change anytime. Please be sure to stay updated with new Terms and Conditions. By continuing to use the website, you are agreeing to be bound by the most recent Terms and Conditions.
- Use of our website: The mentioned Terms and Conditions is a legal agreement made between you and Fab Cakes Ltd. website.
- The minimum age required is 18years to agree to this contract either by yourself or on behalf of your child.
- Every single registration is for single use only as we do not allow multiple users to use the same user name on our website. Please do not check our terms and conditions box if you do not wish to consent to any of the above points.
Our cakes & other products:
- The pictures of the Products on our website are for illustrative purpose only.
- Your Products will slightly vary from the pictures of the website as each product is handmade.
Purchases & Orders:
Our site administration grants you to buy our products from our website.
- After placing an order with us, you will get a confirmation email from us. This email is an invoice of the order placed.
- If you notice any mistake in the Order Confirmation, you may get in touch with us via email at least 2 days before the actual delivery or collection date of the order.
- As our products are handcrafted and transient your lawful option to drop a Contract under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000 cannot be applied.
- If you want to make any changes in your orders kindly reach us through our direct line 020 3500 6001 or email us at hello@fabcakes.co.uk. We will assist you and offer you the best available options. If by any chance you wish to cancel your order under any condition, please notify us at least 2 days before your actual delivery or collection date either by calling or dropping us an email.
All Products that appeared on our website depends on the availability. We will straight away communicate with you via email if the product is unavailable. We will contact you if we didn’t hear from you within 2 hours of sending an email. In case we do not get a response from you, we will maintain whatever authority is needed to substitute. This will work as an assurance so that you are not disappointed with our service.
Our pricing:
- Our costs incorporate VAT; however this excludes delivery costs, which will be added to the aggregate sum before checking out the payment page.
- All our prices are subject to change whenever, yet changes won’t influence orders regarding which we have effectively sent you a receipt.
- You can make payments for your purchase by using your credit or debit cards and those listed on our website. You will be able to see them when you go to the checkout page.
- Prices may vary according to different sales channels. This implies that the price mentioned on our website may vary from the prices of our products in our store as we do not obligate to keep the same pricing system in every channel.
Collection & Delivery
- All the orders will be delivered to the address provided by you to us. All the collections or pick up are available only from our store that is located in High Street, East Ham as we do not have any other collection points.
- Please check our FAQs page / Delivery page to know more about the timescale.
- Currently, we are open to deliver only within a 10-mile radius from our shop. Kindly check the postcode checker for the delivery before placing an order with us, as we do not cover some of the areas inside London too.
- If under any condition nobody is available to get delivery of the Products at the delivery address you have mentioned, we will take the Products back and hold something very similar for 24 hours during which time you may call on 020 3500 6001 to arrange personal pick up or for delivery by us within 24 hours (subject to availability).
- If you missed picking up your order on the appointed day, we will store it in our refrigerator as you didn’t turn up. We cannot take any responsibility for any deterioration of the product or cannot make any refund for the same. Please read our refund and cancellation policy page to know more.
- During your pick-up, please ensure that you carry your valid order confirmation receipt that will be shared with you to your email address after you successfully place an order. We also would request you to sign and get your acknowledgement that the products are in good condition and the complete order is delivered to you successfully. Once you signed we will no longer be eligible to make a change to your order that is picked by / delivered to you.
- Once we delivered the products or it is picked by you, we will not be responsible for any damage to the cakes or any other products. It will be at your own risk from the time we delivered or picked by you.
- Ownership of products will only pass to you once we get a full payment including delivery costs.
Returns:
- We do not accept returns. If you are disappointed or dissatisfied with your order, please get in touch with our team immediately. Please note if the cake is sliced or served we cannot address the particular product issues.
- A cash refund is not possible at any cost.
Terms & Conditions for wedding cakes:
- All our wedding and bespoke cakes are 50% non-refundable
- If you want to make any changes in your order like the change of size, design or customization that is completely different from our website. In this case, if the price is lesser than your original order we would give you a gift card or voucher of the difference value which can be used in your next purchase. We will not be able to give any cash refunds or money-back options.
- We would at least need 2 days notice prior your original delivery date if you decide to delay your orders. If you are unsure about the new delivery date, we will be putting your delivery date on hold till your next update. Kindly note we would at least need 4 days notice.
- If your cancellation is due to any new govt. restrictions on planned events, you have some options below to choose whichever is suitable.
- You can choose to cancel the entire order & we will offer you a gift voucher for the full value of your order.
- You can choose to delay your order. Please notify us at least 4 days before in this case
- Please keep checking our terms and conditions page before every order as we revise them according to different circumstances:
The changes will be made due to the following reasons:

- Change in legal requirements
- Change in market conditions
- Change in our systems or operations
Please note that, in case of any breach of our terms and conditions, we hold the right to suspend or terminate your access to our web page. You might not be able to re-register with us without our consent.
Allergens & other Safety information
- FOOD ALLERGEN AWARENESS: Our Cakes are Produced in a bakery processing the following ingredients: Egg, Milk, Dairy, Gluten (Wheat, Barley, Oats), Soya / Soybean, Peanuts, Tree Nuts (Almonds, Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Cashews, Pecans, Brazils, Pistachios, Macadamia nuts and Queensland nuts), Lupin, Sesame Seeds, Celery and Celeriac, Sulphur.
- *Egg, Gluten, Dairy, Lactose & Nuts are present in our premises. However, no- nut & no dairy-containing ingredients will be used if specified. We have an Egg-free category where we do not include egg in the cake sponge. We can however NEVER guarantee 100% non-contamination in any of the above as they are present in our bakery. We have taken extra precautionary measures to lessen the chance of cross-contamination.

PRECAUTION / SAFETY ADVICE:
- Cake Decorations, figures & ribbons are meant for decorative purposes only. Balloons may conduct electricity and can produce loud noises. Carelessness with Candles can cause Fire. Misuse can cause personal injury.
- Our products may contain colors that could cause adverse “Hypersensitivity” & “Hyperactivity” in children and adults.
- Any advertisement that includes leaflets having correct price at the time of printing and are subject to change at any time. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Other Terms & Conditions:
- We sometimes will remove some of the products that we no longer serve. We might not be responsible for any loss or damage due to those circumstances and we will not take any responsibility if you suffer any loss for the same.
- All the third-party links that are provided on our website are for your convenience and will redirect you to a third-party link that is not reviewed or endorsed by our team. Please note that any attempt to access them is completely at your own risk as we do not take responsibility for the same.
Customer Complaints:
We work hard at Fab Cakes to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase or the standard of our service from an in-store experience, you should first speak to the manager of the Fab Cakes branch.
